Pet Food Recalled after Salmonella Concerns

Dog and cat eatingAccording to James Limbach of ConsumerAffairs, the company ‘Bravo Pet Foods’ is now recalling one of their products due to a possible Salmonella contamination.

The product being recalled is:

  • Bravo Blend Chicken diet for dogs & cats, 2lb (32 oz.) Chub, Item #21-102, Best Used by 12-05-16, UPC: 829546211028

Limbach reports, Bravo Pet Foods is also recalling 3 other products, however, they did not test positive for Salmonella. These products were manufactured in the same facility, on the same day as the product above, and are being recalled as a precaution:

  • Bravo Balance Chicken Dinner for dogs – Patties, 3lb (48 oz.) bag, Item #21-401, Best Used by 12-05-16, UPC: 829546214012
  • Bravo Balance Chicken Dinner for dogs, 2lb (32 oz.) Chub, Item #21-402, Best Used by 12-05-16, UPC: 829546214029
  • Bravo Blend Chicken diet for dogs & cats – Patties, 5lb (80 oz.) bag, Item #21-508, Best Used by 12-05-16, UPC: 829546215088
