Dr. Jennifer Ogeer is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), University of Guelph, Canada. She completed an emergency medicine/critical care residency at Tufts University/Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston and a Master of Science degree in Critical Care at the Ontario Veterinary College. She has spent several years in academic teaching, research, clinical practice and administration as an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Canada. She also has a strong interest in business management and leadership and completed an Executive MBA at Western University (Canada) and is currently completing her Masters of Arts in Organizational Behavior/Leadership.
Dr. Ogeer is heavily involved in serving with not-for-profit organizations that support Eco Health, the Human-Animal Bond and Animal Welfare. She is currently the Executive Finance Chair for Veterinarians without Borders in Canada, Finance Chair of the OVC Pet Trust Board of Directors and a member of the Oakville-Milton Humane Society Board of Directors. Dr. Ogeer is a Medical Affairs Marketing Manager with IDEXX Laboratories and her areas of medical interest include kidney disease, acid-base disturbances, coagulation, pancreatitis, infectious disease testing and management. She lives in Milton, Ontario, Canada with her five cats and two dogs that were all rescued and enjoys cycling, running, mixed martial arts and weight training.
